This review is from: Affinity Tool Works 300FSK Woodworkers Tool Chest (Tools & Home Improvement) At the listed price, you can probably figure out that this product was NOT made by a New England craftsman. So, if you can except a little nick and scratch, a joint that might need to be re-glued, a drawer face plate that isn't exactly flush to the cabinet, you'll find that it's a fairly decent, quite 'workable', attractive, roomy tool chest. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful: By Icabodcrane "Darn the luck" (Jacksonville, FL USA) - See all my reviews This review is from: Affinity Tool Works 300FSK Woodworkers Tool Chest (Tools & Home Improvement) I received this item as a gift (by my request). Opened it up and the first thing I noticed was that it did not have any knobs along the front. Checked and re-checked the box. Nope, nothing. Pulled out a drawer and the bottom fell out. Checked it and it was missing a staple. The quality of wood was also suspect. It wasn't as shiny as it appears in the photo. Pass on this box. It is not worth the hassle. Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Affinity Tool Works 300FSK Woodworkers Tool Chest (Tools & Home Improvement) In spite of the negative reviews I saw here, I ordered the box. It is poorly made and, as others have experienced, it came severely damaged. The packaging for this item is totally inadequate. I would have kept it, for its perfect size, if it had been well made and if it had arrived undamaged. It would have been a nice addition to my lodge. I am now still in search. I suppose I expect too much of Amazon to investigate every item they sell. I will say they took it back with no hassle. |
