I purchased this magazine pouch to hold my Tapco Polymer 30 round AK mags, and a no brand name Romanian polymer 30 round mag. The pouch itself is made of a durable nylon, and seems like it will be able to withstand quite a bit of abuse. The black pouch matches my black plate carrier perfectly (there's no reddish or brownish tint to the black.) There is a divider inside each pouch dividing it into two section (1 bigger and 1 smaller section. The smaller section/"pocket" takes up about 1/3 of the entire pouch. seems like it's meant for single stack magazines, stripper clips, pencils? The only limit is your imagination!). My AK magazines fit easily into the bigger portion of the pouches. Just in case anyone is unclear about the product description, this pouch holds 3 30 round AK magazines. The underside of the flap and exterior of each pouch is covered by velcro with snap closures at two different heights to accommodate different size magazines.
