More Heavy Duty Than Expected --
This item was larger than I expected and the leather is very stiff and thick. I gave it three stars because it was is not what I expected. However, it certainly is heavy duty.
1/7/2012 I am downgrading this from three stars to one star because the first time I put a pliers in the holder, the snap broke. I bought two of these and they both did the same thing on the first try.

I ordered these holders despite the previous review warning about a bad snap. Surely every one of these weren't defective right? WRONG! The first time I actually went to grab my pliers, the top of the snap broke. The top snap is riveted onto the leather. It is a poor rivet that causes it to break. All of the other rivets appear to be in good shape, but this one weak point ruins the entire product. The ONLY reason I purchased this was for the snap to hold down my pliers. The company really needs to do some quality control when everyone that buys this has the snap break.
