I order 3 just to have back up in-case they change the model or design, The best part is the tool tray in to bottom , fits all the fittings and tools for CATV / IPTV , All my coworkers bought this bag after I brought into work and we all love them , you will to buy this bag and it will be the last bag you buy !

Comment: I've purchased many tool bags; either they didn't last or they didn't keep my tools organized. This bag is a higher quality and offers many spots for tools. There is storage everywhere in this bag. I could have gone with the next bag size up, but am very pleased with the amount of space this "smaller" bag offers. I only wish I purchased it sooner.

Comment: I will be using this bag for toting around stuff I use in finding old surveyors' marks.

The bag is roomy. The center portion is divided in thirds. The two side portions are further subdivided into flexible "pockets," while the center part is open. The center part is 6.5" deep (sitting on top of the lower compartment which can house the plastic odds-and-ends case; that compartment is an additional 2.5" deep). The open center compartment holds my camera and a large pair of gloves.

I uploaded a couple of photos of my bag packed full. Those orange stakes stuck into it are 11" tall. I don't carry "normal" tools (pliers, small screwdrivers, wrenches, etc.), but it does a fine job of holding my tape measures, my laser measurement tool, my GPS, clippers, etc. I also like the zippered pocket that covers one side--good for holding my notebook and datasheets.

I also tried out their Model 1509 tool bag, which is much more shallow (almost like a bike messenger's bag). The 1509 zips closed and would be better at carrying papers, but lacks the ability to carry larger items (for example, a good sized power tool).

The handle is very sturdy, and the shoulder strap (fully extended) can be slung over my neck and shoulder for "hands-free" transit. The big d-rings at the handle can serve as attach points for things with cords or straps.

Comment: We have this and it hold a ton of tools! My husband is an electrician and is the envy of all at work.

Comment: I received this bag a couple weeks ago and am very happy with the quality and storage capacity. I do Data/Telecommunications work and the bag fits my tools fine. I got this bag due to the fact of my Dad already had this same bag for about 8 years and abuses it daily working with HVAC systems. In 8 years his bag still holds up to the abuse.
