I'm up and down ladders, in attics, your name it, daily. I put this on the right side of my tool belt and wouldn't want anything different. I like the strap and fasten system and find it easy to use. My Dewalt gun fits like it was made for it, it probably was. It is easy to holster my gun, easy to unholster and never falls out. If I was to pick something I would change I would not have any of the little pockets go all the way through... it doesn't let me put drivers bits in them for storage or they will fall out the bottom and get lost. If your tools have heads of some sort... no-problem for you. I didn't need the pockets anyway because I have other places better for those little screw bits. This was not enough of a problem for me, If something happened to mine I'd buy the exact same one again. By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Custom Leathercraft 5023 Cordless Drill Holder (Misc.) Very very handy. Fits well on the CLC belt. Only con is that the bit holder straps aren't quite tight enough to give me confidence that they won't slip out. By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Custom Leathercraft 5023 Cordless Drill Holder (Misc.) I haven't worn a holster since the mid-1950's, and it was made by Mattel for its Fanner 50 toy six-gun. So permit this old geezer to wax nostalgic as I strap on my new DeWalt 20-volt Max Drill/Driver. This holder is the perfect match for my cordless drill. I've tried all the hooks and loops that were made for the same purpose, but they all fall short in one respect or another. Either they allow too much movement of the drill, which bangs into ladders, projects and people, or they are prone to dropping the tool. This holder snugly holds the drill close to the body, and facilitates taking a firm grip of the drill by its handle. There is no wasted motion. When your drill is lifted from the holder, it is accomplished in one fluid motion, and you are ready to work - whether it be to engage a screw, drill a hole, or pump the bad guys full of lead... eh, excuse me, I got carried away. |
