I recently picked up a Dead On DOS22M 22Oz Framing Hammer at the local Menards. I'd been spying it for a while and it finally went on sale, so I snagged it. I already owned their Abyss nail pouch, which has a nylon sleeve-style hammer holder, but not one worthy of such a bad ass hammer as the DOS22M. This is the hammer holder you need for something like that. The hammer hangs low, but not as low as it would on a tool pouch, which can sometimes put it out of easy reach. The material, while tough, remains flexible, this lets the weight of the hammer keep itself seated in the holder, even when you're moving around at odd angles.
