DEWALT DG5103 Small Maintenance and Electrician's Pouch

Background , maintenance for two 300+ apartment communities
Bought this in hopes of lightening my bag for those third floor walkups - didn't, happen instead I no longer Carry a bag at all. This pouch holds all the basics comfortably and securely, very well suited to laying under a sink or worming through a crawlspace. It holds for me typically - Klein 11-1, Klein 9" lineman pliers, 12" needle nose, hvac ratchet, Klein long 5/16 and 3/8 nut driver, fluke volt light, 6" crescent, cigar tube full of assorted screws, c tube of wire nuts/ clips, disposal wrench, stinger flashlight, elec and Teflon tape, small roll Emory cloth, greenlee wire strippers, Irwin groove lock 8", and I'm sure there are a few other odd bits in it. The loops are big enough for the 11-1 or to double load the skinny tools I.e. The crescent and the ratchet share a loop)
I figured the belt clip would be an annoyance to cut off but it's strong enough to support the bah and very handy for those late...Read more

The pockets on the front of this pouch are very small and shallow. I have a diagonal cutter and a telecom punch tool in them and they just barely stay in. If they were an inch and a half deeper, they would be much better at holding the tools. The loops on the inside of the pouch are also very small. I had to cut out some of the stitching to fit the channel wrench, tone probe and screwdriver in them. On the plus side the material is very sturdy and seems like it would wear very well. The whole rig also hangs very well from a belt without swaying or banging around when I am walking. The main pocket is also deep enough for extra tools and small parts.

I love the pouch, the ballistic nylon materials make it so tough,it can carry tools more than I expected. What I like most on this DeWalt pouch is the three small pockets in front, I can put small stuff like drill bits, screw driver, pen marker..etc. you just reach to it when ever you need it.
