DEWALT DG5126 Heavy-duty Cell Phone Holder

I am a contractor and have had several cell phone holders. This is the only one that keeps my cell phone clean and protects it from bumps and bangs. I eventually broke the clip off the first DeWalt by catching it on a ladder. I just broke the second clip by leaving the phone in my pickup over night at 32 degrees below zero and the clip snapped when I put it on. Can't hardly blame that. I would like a stouter clip, but it protects my phone through thick and thin.

The material of the case was extra tough but the clip on part was just as fragile as other holders. I guess only time will tell. My husband liked it though and it does have a lifetime warranty which you don't get with other cases. I was satisfied with the price and the product.

I do flooring for a living and have had nothing but good things to say for DeWalt.....until this phone holder showed up. As is the case in many of the other reviews, the actual phone protection is GREAT, but the clip is cheaply built and VERY weak. Within three days the clip was broken. If you LOOK at it wrong it breaks. I used epoxy to put it back on, but the very next day the clip broke in another spot. The phone holder was in the garbage within a week of being purchased. I cannot afford to lose my phone, which would have been the case had I not noticed it falling off of my side. Until DeWalt comes up with a metal clip for this phone holder, DO NOT buy this product!
