DEWALT DG5132 Heavy-duty Yoke-Style Suspenders

I ordered these to go with my DeWalt belt despite the previous sole reviewers one star rating. My mistake. Were it possible to rate these lower than one star, believe me, I would do so. The problem: these cheesy "suspenders" fail to "suspend" anything, specifically the tool belt to which they were attached. The poor quality wraparound velcro closures at the belt lack suffieient strength to hold a belt loaded with even the barest of essential tools. I work for a maintenance and construction company specializing in commercial properties. I carry Dykes, Kliens, Snips, wiggly, 10 in 1, cordless hammerdrill, torpedo, speed square, hammer, etc. These suspenders, velcro specifically, crackle like a newly opened bag of potato chips, and fall to the ground within seconds. Total junk!

i used the suspenders for about 1 1/2 to 2 months now and the plastic piece that holds the front part of the harness broke on one side. Now i have to invest in another set of suspenders. if i could give it a negative rating i would.

The other reviews state that the velcro attachment at the belt is weak. I find it to be exceptionally strong as long as you attach them properly. The velcro is more than adequate as long as you lace the tab end back through the buckle and then onto itself. I believe that the negative reviews are because the other users are trying to attach the suspenders to the belt with the velcro reversed.
