The Seven-Drawer Roll Away is designed to give you additional work space and the convenience of mobile tool access so you can bring your tools to where you need them most. At three inches tall, the top five drawers are ideal for screwdrivers and wrenches, while the six-inch tall bottom drawers store hammers, mallets, and other larger tools.
Two swivel and two non-swivel casters make steering easy and are lockable for extra stability. An oval-shaped, tubular steel Push Handle can be mounted to either side of the Roll-Away for effective push control, and bumpers protect the Roll-Away from damage.
Additionally, the heavy-gauge mat on top of the Roll-Away can be used as an extra work surface--simply remove it to clean or stack other units on top of the Roll-Away.
Durable and Secure
The Gladiator Seven-Drawer Roll-Away features welded steel construction and double-side wall construction for increased strength and support. The drawers are rated to 50 pounds and the chest supports up to 1,000 pounds.
The drawers are powder coated and finished with the Gladiator GarageWorks Tread Plate finish to prevent rust and corrosion. Easy-roll, steel ball-bearing slides keep the drawers moving smoothly, while the Friction-Catch feature stops the drawers from opening when the unit is moved.
And thanks to a GarageWorks compatible key, you can lock the chest to keep your tools safe.
Combines with Other Chests for Stacked Storage
Combine the Seven-Drawer Roll-Away with the Premier Series Six-Drawer Tool Chest and Three-Drawer Intermediate Chest to create a three-piece stackable tool chest that rolls easily and functions as a complete tool storage system. Placed at the bottom of the stackable system, the Seven-Drawer Roll-Away will function as a strong and sturdy base that provides convenient mobility with its push handle and heavy-duty casters.

Every time I read a review warning me about badly packaged products being shipped by Amazon, I just keep assuming that it must be a one off issue, and they MUST have figured this out, since Amazon is such a well run company. But I always get burned, and this was the biggest burn of all. This box was delivered by the same UPS folks that deliver my books, and DVDs from Amazon. They really are not equipped to handle the shipment. The Tool box looked to be only slightly banged up, and looked like superficial bruising that should easily tap out. The next day while arriving home through the garage, and seeing this cabinet next to my other Gladiator cabinets in bright light, I realized the whole cabinet was angled to the left. Almost a trapezoidal shape. It just looks horrible. It also reminds me how dumb I was to not hear other advice on this forum. I couldn't find a local store that had it in stock, and the wait to deliver at most was 3-4 weeks. The wheel system is awkward, and mine was missing the screws to attach the handle. [Update--I was wrong, the screws were in there, they work fine!]I have several pieces of the Gladiator set, including the 6 drawer toolbox to put on top of this cabinet. Pretty much every piece has arrived with a bit of shipping damage, even when using overnight shipping. You might do better to buy these locally at Sears or Lowes. Having said that, I love the drawers for tool storage. The action on the drawer mechanism is strong and I have a few hundred pounds in this chest and 200 lbs sitting on top of it and it's very nice. I just think for this kind of money, I should get no shipping damage. So if you don't want to get one with damage, have Sears deliver it or go pick it up at a Sears.
