GSC SL3500 Storage Locker, Black with Red Latches

I had bought this product many years ago at Ames/Hill's department stores. Would be nice to also have the other color still available to order from (Green). They are heavy duty and hold lots of items securely & safely. They do not chip or crack, no crushing of the sides and its nice to be able to stack them. We found & bought them once at BJ's and last year here at Amazon. buying another to replace old cardboard boxes of similar items. I did not have a problem with shipment from Amazon as the one person noted, box was shipped in good condition.

Nice footlocker. Exactly what I expected. Could not find one locally at the stores. I would buy one again.

I don't think I would use this locker for tools or heavy items, but as a transporter for food or cloth items like tents and clothing it's pretty good. The hinges can be a bit annoying if you allow the lid to fall all the way open, some finagling will be necessary to line them back up so the locker will close. It would be okay for carrying foodstuffs while camping as long as weight is restricted. I plan to use the one I bought to R/C airplanes, disassembled for transporting safely, wrapping them with foam or bubble pack. For its price, it's a good choice for light duty storage and carrying. It would be useful for storing seasonal clothing, tents, quilts, etc.
