The reason I purchased this item was for my class at technical college. I needed a Hammer loop for convenience/efficiency. After all lugging a hammer around class at college, everywhere I went, sucked. I needed my hands free, and this little piece of gear does a great job.
The pivot works just like its supposed to. Swings freely.
The loop for the hammer, in my opinion is really big. After looking at some "modern" hammer designs, I can understand, the manufacture wanting to make a product that is going to hold as many different hammers as possible. Bigger market more profit I assume.
On my hammer loop that I purchased, I will probably end up modifying the loop to make it a bit smaller. Its just personal preference more than a real issue.
One thing that attracted me to this besides the functionality was, the color scheme. Its got a classic look to it. Where as my local Lowes, only carried the .. kobalt brand, which blue is an okay color, but...Read more
