Boy is this a nice bag! It is exactly 24 inches long and will hold a 24" level but it"s so sturdy that I could fill it up with steel bars and it would still hold up. I appreciate the fine craftsmanship so much that I hand rubbed leather conditioner on it and it really made it pop. Just like a thick leather jacket, it just keeps getting better with age. The straps encircle the entire bag so theres no danger of them tearing away and they will support as much as you can put in the bag. The handle is a double strap so it won't tear. Each strap is riveted 6 times and the bottom has 6 brass feet. When you first get it, you'll notice it's very stiff and a little lighter than the picture, but it starts getting softer and darker in color as it ages. After about two months of abuse, anyone who sees it wants it. The inside is raw leather with a heavy canvas floor. This bag is a great little tool bag. It is a convenient size to carry and hold many tools. I would give this a 3 thumbs up if I had three thumbs!
