I love everything about this box. Don't go penny wise and pound foolish on these storage boxes because once you start using it hard you will separate the men from the boys. I asked Knaack how much this box could hold assuming an evenly distributed weight distribution. They told me that the box could be lifted by the handles and would remain structurally sound to 2500 lbs. I had about 1000 lbs in mine and noticed the bottom panel had sagged down about a quarter inch. Not a problem -- I stuck a couple of 4x6s cut to 31 inches under the base panel (yeah I had to unload the box to do this). I am at 1600 lbs and the box has no problems at all. Very good quality, fit, and finish. Very sturdy in terms of security.
