This review is from: KR Tools ONSITE 725101 16-Inch Steel Hip Roof Box (Tools & Home Improvement) I like working on my truck every now and then, this sucker can hold all my tools while using the plastic tray inside to hold all my sockets, bought alot of stanley tools, pliers, wrenches, driver wrenches, screwdrivers and this guy took in all the tools with a healthy amount of room to spare. It is not too big or small, just a healthy medium. Like most metal boxes, I recommend putting a cloth at the bottom so you don't scratch the inside or feel your tools moving around. I tried a plastic tool box, didn't like it so this one I give my personal thumbs up! 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful: By Mrs.58 "GimmeDaOldDaze" (New Yawk) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: KR Tools ONSITE 725101 16-Inch Steel Hip Roof Box (Tools & Home Improvement) It's true and my moves were using it non stop as I had been keeping all my screw drivers and sets of nails in screws in an old cardboard box for 15 years. As the previous reviewer noted, its a perfect size, has a deep enough well to hold tapes, screw, nails, widgets, hammer and the top tray carries my set of screw drivers of all kinds. A very skeptical moving man asked if I had any screw drivers and when I directed him to my little red tool box (proudly I might add) he was impressed and very happy not to have to make a trip searching for tools.
Enough about me, this is a great box, consider it for a gift and stock it was a gift certificate so recipient can stock it with whatever they need for their hobbies. This review is from: KR Tools ONSITE 725101 16-Inch Steel Hip Roof Box (Tools & Home Improvement) Tool box is very sturdy and has good dimensions for most household tool storage. Only downside is that some of the craftsmanship and attention to detail could have been better. On the back of the box for example, on either side of the hinges there's an open space with pretty sharp edges. Serious design flaw! If you're not careful you could get a nasty cut if you don't use the handle and decide to pick the tool box up with two hands on either side. Another problem is that the body lines seem to be slightly off. Think of a car accident and a body shop not aligning a quarter panel properly. I know this is just a tool box but, it would be nice to see a little better effort in craftsmanship. All in all, this is a good looking item. The removable plastic organizer tray has a nice strong feel to it and after loading all my tools in it, I was completely satisfied paying a little extra for this tool box.
