The leather apron if OK for standing but not comfortable when sitting. The design lacks folds that allow a break near the waist line. It may soften a bit with continued use or maybe some saddle soap will help? Not my favorite apron when chiseling wood.

This a very nice leather apron. I'm a 250 pounder at 6'1". It could be little longer for me but still gives good coverage/ The leather is heavy enough to take a beating. The price is very right.

I'd give this 3.5 if I could as a rating. I got this for my husband for our third anniversary (since it is the leather anniversary) and it's not perfect in terms of fit. The craftsmanship itself is just fine. The neck strap, however, is way too long. My husband is 6'1" and the neck strap is too long that it hangs too low. Since it is not adjustable, this will require some rigging on our end. It is also very stiff and awkward for sitting, as another reviewer stated. We have had it rolled up a couple times to try to break it in, so I hope this improves. The other comment my husband made is that it is very hot. I imagine that is the nature of the leather apron, so I don't deduct stars for that, but it's worth noting. I got it for him to use in the garage for woodworking, but it looks like it will be a late fall/early spring apron because it's just too hot for him in the summers.
