The magnet had no real hoilding power at all...even the socket that came with it fell off as soon as I removed it from the box. Even walking at a normal speed caused any object attached to it to simply drop off and I had to stop to retrieve it or chase it as it rolled away (stil havent found one of my own sockets yet.) Even the smalles of my end wrenches was to heavy for this item. In its defense if you sew it MIGHT hold a needle...but don't count on it.

Item is useful for keeping screws when fixing small appliances. Such as microwaves, juice blenders, vcr's etc. It is also very handy for holding screws when putting together cabinets. Thank goodness for Magnogrip!
