McGuire-Nicholas 22320W 20-Inch Rolling Tool Bag With Telescoping Handle

I believe that this McGuire-Nicholas rolling tool bag was manufactured for the purpose of being just that -- a tool bag. My reason for purchasing it was to use to carry some school supplies plus a very small, lightweight folding printer, all of which easily fit in the bag.

My critisms of this rolling tool bag apply to either of the uses I mentioned:

1) I think that the wheels are too small. If one runs over a crack in the pavement (sidewalk, etc.) then you feel it. On a smooth concrete floor inside a plant, its rolling would be smoother.

2) The handle does not lock into place (as opposed to rolling back packs or airline carry-on bags); so that if one has to momentarily push on the handle in order to maneuver the tool bag, the handle may tend to collapse.

This is a wonderful value for a rolling bag. Though it is listed as a tool bag, it is very versatile and can be used for a whole range of things that need to be moved on wheels. The size is very large. The handle is long enough for even tall folks. The construction is very sturdy. The zipper is steel so it, too, is very sturdy. Although a little less easy to unzip than a nylon zipper, the added security for really containing the contents is a good thing.
Don't think you can find another rolling bag like this at this price (or even near it).

I've owned this bag for 2 years and put my 18 volt cordless kit it it. i'm a carpenter and unfortunately destroy tool bags like this.i tortured this bag and the tools it held allmost everyday i went to work, and yes i began destroying this bag too.i feel that for the price it cant be beat.the bag and zipper are still fine but the handle has jambed itself up and the lining is falling apart.this is not a negative review i put my gear to the task.
