If you pick up 5 gallon (or 3 gallon) buckets "free" with some purchase like drywall mud, then with a little organization you can have a bunch of specialized tool buckets for much less than you'd spend for tool boxes. I think the Bucket Boss organizers came first; I got one of their jumbo tool pouch organizers, which has since become my primary tool caddy. But McGuire Nicholas has come out with some lower-cost options, and that's how I ended up trying their products.
I got a couple of these 3-compartment stackers. The most recent one came as a free extra with the McGuire Nicholas "54 Pocket Builders Bucket Pro in Red & Black". (That's a pretty decent bucket tool pouch at half the price of my Bucket Boss original, but it's not compatible with any stackers because the inside bucket pouches take up the same space that the stackers need.) These stackers will fit in three different ways:

This is a great way to keep from losing small parts when doing odd jobs. Fits great in a 5 gallon bucket.
