This review is from: Occidental Leather 2575LH Left Handed Oxy Pro Work Vest (Misc.)
I'm a custom home builder, in the trades for over 20 years. I'm 5'-8" and 140 lbs. Maybe if I was 4" taller and 40 pounds heavier the vest would start to fit. One size does not fit all by a long shot.
The clip on pouches are to big and bulky and hang around my knees. The way two of the clip on loops are sewn makes taking the clip pouches off a royal pain. I don't care for the plastic holders they come with for your chisel and utility knife--too big again.
The two pouches up high on the vest get in the way of seeing and accessing the lower pockets. If you are trying to work between trusses or joists they really get in the way and hang up. And the worst: any time you bend over (and when you are framing this is constantly) your tools fall out. This is really aggravating after about the 10th time in an hour and dangerous if someone is working below.
These bags stink. I can't believe Occidental would release something so unfunctional.
