First off, let me say that the previous low ratings are way unfair to this great product. The dimensions are listed right on the page. Just because somebody wasn't smart enough or didn't care enough to look at the dimensions, they shouldn't give the product a low rating based on that. Is this a small box? Kind of. Is is listed as a small box? Yes. It is exactly what it says it's going to be and if anything, that should warrant a positive review.

On to the box. I actually don't use it for tackle or tools. I use it to hold all of my guitar knickknacks like wrenches and picks. It is a small toolbox that fits the bill perfectly. It is sturdy and adaptable. On top is a large compartment that can hold larger items. Don't let the "Small" tag that people have labeled this thing with fool you, it can hold several screwdrivers, even small hammers. I've had this little tool and parts box for about three years, and though I don't use it hard, it's lasted much longer than I expected. The top bin is large enough to handle several small tools such as pliers, tape measure, calipers, and so forth, but what I like the most about it is that the parts "drawers" can be accessed without opening the top, and they won't spill out because of the door that holds them in.

I bought this thing specifically to be a jewelry box for all my masonic lapel pins, name tags, cuff links, tie tacs, etc. and it is perfect for that. I've had Plano products before and have alwasy been pleased.
