This tool box is made of heavy gauge metal, with a quality paint job. It is large enough for all the tools I need as an apartment dweller, and is well proportioned. The tray is deep enough to hold most-used tools, and there is plenty of room in the bottom for less frequently used, or larger, tools. While the price may seem a little high for a personal tool box, the quality and sturdiness will make you glad you chose this Ridgid model 33085.

Our business is HVAC, and, having a lot of various sheetmetal tools (which are heavy), toolboxes just don't seem to last. Unitl now. This is a very heavy, sturdy metal box, with strong latches and handle. You can even use it as a seat without damaging it. The finish is good, with a durable paint. The ONLY drawback is that the box is heavier in weight than many others, because of the heavier-gauge metal used in manufacturing.
If you are looking for a very strong toolbox, this is it.

Nicely made tool box with a slightly textured finish for more durability I would guess. I bought it only because the price was low at the time without a predetermined use in mind. Since I got it however, I found it fits very nicely with my M18 cordless bandsaw, batteries, and blades (if you remove the tray) as I didn't have a case with it to begin with. I'm sure it would be a good choice for any hand or power tools you figure are worth protecting while in the field or on a truck.
