Stack-On RG-920 20-Inch 3-Drawer Portable All Steel Tool Chest

Had the predecessor for a couple of decades. This one is the same weight. Drawers and top a little deeper. Front to back maybe 1/4 inch less. Same length.
Working lying down, I accidentally laid my leg on the open top drawer of the predecessor and tipped the chest forward so all the weight of the tools in it went onto the extended drawer. This bunged up the slide mechanism and finished off the locking. I do not expect more or less from this one. All the competition appears, from reviews, to have the same degree of ruggedness or worse (some chests are now very flimsy plastic). The three drawers are very handy, but keep the weight down by putting in the chest only what you really need. There appears to be no really rugged chest made, which, of course, would also be heavier.

I got this chest to use as a bench top organizer for drill bits, hole saws and related items. For that it works well, but like others have said, it is kind of light weight. If you are planning to carry around a loaded chest, you will probably want to look at others. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be many choices in this size. " Made in China" immediatly knocked a star off the rating.

Needed another sliding drawer tool box fo my tools in my out door work shed. Exactly what I needed.
