This review is from: Stack-On SCBLK-600 6-Drawer Chest/Cabinet Combo, Black (Tools & Home Improvement) OK. To start, I paid $130 for this chest with FREE shipping. A VERY good deal, if you look around. I got it in Black, but the red version is exactly the same, it may look like it has 3 drawers across the front in the photos, but those are the locking rods. Each level on the top chest is ONE single drawer. This item did not ship to me via UPS or USPS or FedEx, It was sent via CEVA, a large freight carrier. I did not know this until after it shipped. There were some issues, in that Amazon did not give them a contact number for me so they could arrange to schedule a delivery (as is there standard way of doing things) so my tracking showed a weird line about how they HAD contacted me and scheduled a delivery for me at day and time I was NOT available. It took about a half hour of phone calls to sort it all out, but in the end it was ok. The tool chest itself had some minor cosmetic damage when it arrived. Its a nice box for the price ( I paid around $130 with Free shipping ) most definately! Lots of space and overall nice looking. I would recommend this tool box! It has been several months since he has had the tool box-- it is still in excellent condition and the box is used on a daily basis and no issues with the drawers or anything. It holds a lot of tools and with it being 2 pieces- its easy to move around. He has the drawers full- but it is keeping his tools organized. That is not what I received, what I received was a tool chest that was delivered to someone else damaged, they partially put it together, put holes in the instruction sheet, opened the plastic containing the rollers and sent it back. If an item was sent back due to the damage WHY would it be sent to another customer[...] I am very disappointed in this purchase[...] |
