Long enough to wear with a tool pouch over my shoulder. Stitched and riveted in the right places. With a little leather treatment every few years it should last a while. For me, it is too thick and wide to be used as a comfortable dress belt.

Belt is very sturdy. I didn't realize how wide it truly is. I had some work pants that i had to squeeze them in but it worked fine. I like solid belts for construction work.
