This review is from: Style n Craft 74-052 2-Inch Work Belt in Heavy Top Grain Oiled Leather, 32-Inch to 46-Inch (Tools & Home Improvement) I was looking for an IWB carry belt that didn't buckle or lose shape when carrying my xD or G23. This thing is super great, and so much cheaper than belts advertised for IWB. There are a couple of problems- the belt is lether but not polished leather, the back of it has an unfinished feel to it. If it gets wet, I'm assuming your pants could get stained. The biggest issue is that this thing is HUGE. I guess I didn't know what 2" meant, but, this takes up all of the loop and flat out won't fit in some pants. I haven't had a problem with my jeans, but, you can't wear this belt with dress pants. That's the biggest limitation. For the price, it's unbeatable. Your tool doesn't move, it feels super secure. The belt is lightweight and distributes the load over a huge surface area, thus- no give. It's awesome. I bought two, and if I needed more, I'd buy them in a heartbeat. 3 of 3 people found the following review helpful: By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) It's strong and beautifully made and I cant imagine any situation that will cause it to fail. Just make sure your pants can accomadate this beefy thing, I bought pants claiming to be able to handle a 2 in. belt but it was a very tight fit. Other than that this belt is completely worth the amazing Amazon price. 3 of 3 people found the following review helpful: By John "H" (Long Island) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) The oiled leather is attractive, pretty good quality, and workmanship is decent, though the edges tend to be sharp and could have been burnished. You may actually feel the edges digging into your waist with thinner clothing on. However, I was impressed enough to order a second one because it is good support for tool pouches as well as holsters. It is more practical than belts priced five times higher or more. The belt came fairly tightly folded with a zip tie holding it together, which results in obvious fold lines that may take a while to relax, but it's still a great value. |
