I bought two of these racks to replace a metal rack that I had used for several years. I was quite disappointed in the old rack---it was very durable but lousy at holding tools. My butcher-block workbench was getting dinged from frequent collisions with falling pliers, screwdrivers, etc. Despite being made of plastic--this is a MUCH better tool rack.
The pros:
o Holds lots of tools of various types.
o Lots of holes for screwdrivers, nutdrivers, etc.
o Lots of slots for pliers of various sizes.
o Hooks for wrenches, etc.
The cons:
o Plastic--less durable and was slightly warped.
o Some of the holes are awkward to use. They are not recessed to encourage the tool to stay put.
All in all, a better solution than I had.
